Too this today at the J.C. Raulston Arboretum. My lovely fiancee Claudia came with me for a photo shoot, but the rain unfortunately put a stop on it. However when we got there the sun came out so I decided to walk around a bit and shoot some pictures and she did some reading with her medical book...

Frozen Heat

Another Duke Gardens shot. This was back in May on a very warm and humid day after a rain the night before.
I gave it a frozen winter look with LR4. Thought it really looked like frozen rain on the bushes, reminding me of many NY mornings in the winter time...

Copper Tone...

This is Gabby. A beautiful 18 month old girl I got to photograph a few weeks back for her grandma. She was in need of some head shots for a modelling agency. Man she was a firecracker, could get her to sit for more than a minute at a time...
She was adorable though and very friendly, after each picture I let her look at herself in the LCD screen and she got a real kick out of that.

Broken Angel

Took some shots at the Historic Oakwood cemetery in Raleigh, NC. It is an interesting cemetery with plenty of history including a section dedicated to civil war soldiers...
This was a small angel that has certainly the test of time. I thought it was pretty cool looking, especially with the cross in the background...

It can be a real bear out there...

This is from back in March when I took a trip to New Bern NC with my fiance.
They have a cool bear display in the town and this was my favorite...
For those of you who don't know New Bern is the birthplace of Pepsi...

Now this what you call love...

Did a maternity shoot at Duke Gardens in Durham NC. This was a great couple Jessica and CJ. I love the ultrasound in this shot.
Jessica was not able to walk too much so we had to make due with some local spots within the park. Of course they had the best local area closed off for a jazz concert. She was having the baby the next day, how cool!
Good stuff...

Alpha and Omega Color Crazed Run

Took some pics today of the charity run to raise money for a mission trip to Belize. It was fun and interesting as this was my first time seeing a color run.
They had a great turn out and hopefully a lot of people will be impacted by this event and the ripples it will cause!
